Can I purchase a homesite or do I have to buy a home?
At Hilton Head Lakes you have the option of purchasing a homesite and building your own custom home by one of the area' s custom builders or you can choose one of the homes or plans built by Citizens Homes.
If I have purchased property and have not built do I have use of the amenities/golf course?
Yes, as a property owner you are entitled to use of all of the amenities at Hilton Head Lakes as well as the golf course at Hilton Head Lakes North. All property owners are considered members and as such you will be entitled to preferred tee times and rates.
What if I don't play golf, do I have to pay for golf?
No, if you are not a golfer you do not pay for golf. The golf course will remain open to the public and its members and will not be assessed to any property owner that does not play.
What amenities are being offered?
The community will offer a variety of amenities when all completed. Some of these are fitness center, community center, theater room, swimming pools, lazy river, 18 hole championship golf course, 6 hole par three course, tennis courts, and pro-shop just to name a few. The community will also offer numerous clubs to become involved in through the property owners association.

What types of homesites are offered?

Can I have a pool?
Yes, you may have a pool as long as it fits within the property setbacks and is approved by the ARB.
Is there a convenient airport near Hilton Head Lakes?
Yes, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is only 20 minutes away as well as Hilton Head Airport.
Are there additional initiation fees for joining the club or using the club amenities?
No, there are no additional fees for using the club amenities, i.e. pools, tennis courts, fitness center, etc. these are all included in your home owners association dues.
